Invasive plants crowd out and overtake the native species. Removing them improves wildlife habitat. It's not only beneficial for mammals and birds, but it is crucial for our pollinators that have declined so rapidly lately.
We will be working at Munsee Woods near Prairie Creek Reservoir. It is a Indiana State Nature Preserve and a treasure that is normally closed to the public.
