About

Nutrition Education for Seniors:
Would you like to research how to cook for one person and then share your findings and recipes with our seniors? Share simple meal prep ideas, how to properly freeze and store products, and so forth.... How to buy for one and save money when purchasing in bulk. Compile your findings into easy-to-understand materials for us to utilize in our monthly newsletters and menus, which reach hundreds of people. This is the ideal virtual chance for you to work on your own time while making a difference in the lives of seniors!
2 Volunteers needed for the entire semester

Virtual Tours/Virtual Experience
Create a 5-8 minute video about a special place in your hometown or on vacation and share all of the details that make it so unique. Set your video to music or voice over and share all of the details of what you are seeing. Take our seniors on a tour for just a little bit and let them explore the world around them.
Another option is to teach technology to our seniors. Make a short film that demonstrates how to use Google, Google Earth, Android or iPhones, iPads, and other devices. There is a lot that can be done on the internet, and seniors need to know how to use their gadgets properly and safely. Yes these tips are on YouTube but everyone needs to know how to get to YouTube to use them.
20 volunteers each day of the week all semester.
