Community Food Experience

Monday, May 23rd, 2022 from 3:30pm to 5:00pm (ET)

This 1½-hour interactive simulation is adapted from the Atlanta Community Food Bank and challenges participants to manage a tight budget when faced with true-to-life challenges to gain a deeper understanding of the complexity of hunger and the impact of food insecurity on daily life.

Participants take on the persona of a community member who navigates through the barriers of food insecurity in an effort to put together a nutritious diet based on their health needs.
