Project Leadership

Volunteers serve as mentors to students working to succeed in high school and prepare for college and career. Mentors meet with students once a week for about an hour. Meetings are scheduled on an individual basis by the mentor and student. Volunteer mentors receive resources and guidance from Project Leadership. Project Leadership interviews prospective volunteers, check references and complete a background check. Mentors are required to attend a two-hour orientation.
