CCIM's Dean Collegian Advisory Council

Holding the position of Chair for the CCIM Dean's Council means that not only do I organize and host meetings for the Collegian Council, but I also help to host events and attend other service events with alumni and professional authorities across the nation. As well as this, I helped to establish the group's first social media and spark engagement within the group's general membership, which had died during the pandemic, through the installation of both bonding and service activities done as a team. This position requires a very close connection with the Dean of the College of Communication, Information, and Media, as well as with the various CCIM faculty and students in order to ensure that our organization is a go-between for these students and faculty/staff members.

As a member of the DCAC for the College of Communications and Emerging Media at Ball State, I am a representative for not only the DCAC program but for the CCIM college at Ball State itself. I am tasked with engaging with both students and alumni in encouraging potential future students to attend Ball State, as well as encouraging our alumni to look into funding some of our programs through charitable donations. The goal of the DCAC as a whole is to represent the student body of CCIM and help to be a liaison for student and faculty relationships with university authorities.
