Phi Upsilon Omicron

Phi Upsilon Omicron is a national honor society in Family and Consumer Sciences that was founded in 1909. Phi Upsilon Omicron, offers an environment empowering lifelong learning, leadership building, and ethical and scholastic excellence. The local chapter, Alpha Sigma, initiates students by invitation in the following majors: apparel design, child development, child life, dietetics, family and consumer sciences education, family and consumer sciences general, family studies, fashion merchandising, hospitality and food management, interior design, and residential property management.
