Tonight we made signs for the grand opening on Saturday with the kids. It is always such an enjoyable experience helping serve dinner and getting to build relationships with the families.

Hung out with a bunch of kids.
While serving the dinner, I always love to see the familiar faces of the families we serve on a regular basis as well as the new families who are just joining the program. The childcare portion of the night went really well and we got to do a fun painting activity with the kids for the grand opening next week. I always enjoy volunteering with this organization and having the opportunity to learn so much.
