Volunteered at my local humane society
I really enjoy tutoring peers in Spanish!
I helped make bulletin boards and posters for my mom's classroom all day. She needed help displaying her student's work and getting her classroom decorated for Spring.
After walking a mile to Minnestrista from campus, we started off raking and shoveling mulch to clear a pathway and prepare the rose beds for new mulch. We dumped the mulch in wheelbarrows and also snipped dead grass on the property. It was a fun experience, everyone was very friendly and I met new members who have other involvement on campus.
I had fun connecting with volunteers and working on landscaping!
I donated 12 items to the cardinal kitchen at Ball State.
This is my dads office, and during the time I stopped at home I was able to volunteer to help clean out some of their storage closets. During covid-19 they weren't able to officially finish moving into their new office, and my dad has been telling me how much of a mess they are but since they do not have the people around to help organize and clean, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I was able to clean and organize 3 of their storage room/closets and make it easier for those doing business in the office to get supplies and items they need. This next week they are opening up for more capacity and I am very excited that I was able to make the transition back into in person easier.
