I helped the church set up the dining hall for the Thanksgiving meal after the sermon on Sunday! I helped to lay out table cloths, place settings, and centerpieces on each table. During the meal, I helped the kitchen staff again by handing out food and making sure that the food didnt run out during the event! I also stayed to help clean up afterwards, making sure everything was put away! It was so fun to experience this Thanksgiving meal with my church family!
I helped the ladies in the kitchen prepare the Thanksgiving meal for the members of our church on Saturday! We made green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, turkey, and creamed corn for the community. Other members of the church catered in food items, but we made the basics for the church! It was so fun to volunteer and help out the cooking crew!
Got to meet some of the new kitties this afternoon, cleaned cages, and did some housekeeping for Sherry!
I help to clean the cat's cages at the Pet Smart here in Muncie, and prepared the other cages for new kitties that will arrive sometime this week!

Volunteering to set up the Chili Dinner event, serve Chili to the members, and clean up after was a wonderful experience! Everyone was extremely friendly, and it was rewarding seeing so many smiling faces.
Helping time the swim meet and watching the kids do their absolute best was one of the most exciting service opportunities I have ever done!!
