Brothers of Phi Kappa Psi made a dinner for the people at the Muncie Mission Missionaries
I helped with the rummage sale by helping the visitors with carrying their items as well as helping them load it into their car.
I was helping pick up tires that were left on the side of the road as well as picking up trees and litter that was on the ground.
The Summer 2019 First Merchants Corporation interns went to a better way to help clean up their facility and others cleaned the yard and others helped make the dinner for that night.
During my time at the waters edge village, my fraternity and I were able to connect with the residents there by playing games such as sorry, uno, and skipbo. It was great listening to their stories and what they were like when they were our age.
During my time there a group of my fraternity brothers and I helped assemble food plates for the kids that showed up to the event. After they had their food we played with them whether that be football or tag. It was a great time. I also enjoyed listening to the kids about their hobbies and what they like to do for fun.
My fraternity and I went to Muncie Mission Ministries where we cooked pasta, made brownies, and interacted with the guests who arrived. It was amazing hearing peoples' stories as well as to give people food that needed it the most.
It was fantastic taking off the trim of the house and putting it the dumpster outside of the house. Our fraternity has not done anything like that and everyone loved it.
It was a great seeing a different side of habitat for humanity because normally I just think of rebuilding and building homes for people. Now I learned that Habitat does a lot more for the community with their restores. It was truly amazing
