Helping the Muncie Ballet at Cornerstone, several of my sorority sisters and I helped creating costume and hair pieces for the young dancers, creating different props, and watching small groups of the dancers. Overall, it was a very positive experience!
Department of Theatre and Dance - New York Showcase Volunteer | As a volunteer, I had the opportunity to fill industry packets for various agents and casting directors in attendance, assist the student coordinators, and clean up the common spaces after each reception. I had a great time being able to serve and give back to a department that has done so much for me. Especially in a new city environment!
Department of Theatre and Dance - Audition/Interview Day Greeter | I got the opportunity to welcome prospective students to their audition/interview, answer any questions they had, and calm their nerves. I know that I, personally, had a very positive experience at my own interview for the Department of Theatre and Dance, so I loved getting the opportunity to help these students feel the same way I did 2 years ago!
