I created 11 different recipes for a food bank in my hometown. I created 3 recipes for breakfast, 3 recipes for lunch, 3 recipes for dinner, and 2 recipes for snacks. I spent three days creating my own recipes, designed 4 different types of recipe cards, and cooked all recipes to ensure that all ingredients and procedures would be successful.
I loved doing this service project because of my love for cooking and helping others. I cannot wait to hear feedback from the food bank about the recipes and individuals who decided to cook them!
I volunteered with the Student Volunteer Services where we went to four different homes and raked their leaves, then placed leaves into trash bags. It was humbling to be able to help individuals with a time consuming action. I was able to volunteer with three other DZ members which made the experience even better.
I am a driver for Little Red Door, which entails delivering supplements and nutritional food replacements to patients front door. I travel to Muncie, New Castle, and starting Anderson soon.
I set up an event for the first night of homecoming for Ball State. I moved tables, chairs, and set a stage for the music. The event was food trucks in the village so, I made sure the vendors had everything they needed and helped the person in charge with anything they needed.
