I thought that this was a really great opportunity for people who like kids to get to play with kids and watch them while their parents are in a meeting. We also got to serve the families food and talk to them a bit before their meeting started. I thought it was really cool seeing the families there together to try to learn and better their situations.

I thought that this was a really great opportunity to get outside and do something in the community that is directly affecting their accessibility to nutritious foods. It was really fun because we got to be outside and do weeding and harvesting. I learned a lot from it while also improving the garden.
I thought this was a really rewarding experience getting to make food for the members of the community and get to meet them. It was cool cooking dinner for that many people, and seeing how excited they were to get to all share a hot meal together and listen to the speakers talk about their experiences with Life 360. My favorite part was probably at the end of dinner and getting to hear the stories of two of the guys who had gotten out of jail and were fortunate enough to get to join (I can't remember the name) the house that one of the women runs for men just getting out of prison. They talked about how living in the house really helped them get back on their feet and gave them so many opportunities and influenced their faith immensely. Overall it was a great experience and I'm really glad that I was able to help give back to the community in a small way. I also thought that the staff was really great and so helpful in showing us what to do and talking us through what needed to be done.
